About the Trellicor Security Group
The Trellicor Security Group is a global organisation with representation in over 50 countries around the world. It is owned by SA Investment Opportunities Limited (SAIOL), a British based private equity fund, managed by Hibridge Capital. SAIOL was seeded by Fidelity Investments International and Goldman Sachs International. The global Head Office is situated in South Africa and the Group originated and developed its products in the tough South African security market.
The Group has been in operation since 1976 with its market-leading brands, Trellidor, Roll-up Serranda and GriffinGuard, specialising in the physical barrier security of buildings. In some markets these brands have become the generic name for the category due to their popularity and reputation. The Trellicor UK Head Office is situated in the Midlands with branches throughout the country.
It has been protecting organisations such as BP, Sainsbury’s, the Ministry of Defence, Marks and Spencer, Magnet Stores, Canon and Vodaphone, as well as a variety of Embassies and Local Authorities. The Trellicor Security Group is committed to the testing and certification of its products for compliance with both quality and security standards.
All of the Group’s products are manufactured in ISO audited factories and carry suitable guarantees. Most have been tested and certified by the Loss Prevention Certification Board against Loss Prevention Standard 1175 and the Trellidor Trojan is the only security grille to have achieved both LPS 1175 SR level 2 and Government Approval. The Group is licenced to the ACPO Secured by Design initiative and can claim ‘Police Preferred Specification’ for its LPCB certified products.
All the Group’s products are bespoke security solutions installed and maintained by a team of professional fitters and engineers and many of the components, such as locks and screws, are not commercially available. This helps to ensure the integrity of the products and the customers’ peace of mind.
